Dr. Caluda is the President of The Surgery Group, and has been in continuous practice in Pensacola with this exceptional group of Surgeons since 1998. He is a lifelong resident of Northwest Florida and is married to Dr. Shannon Caluda. He has two stepchildren, Collin and Caraline. Dr. Caluda has been active in medical staff leadership in the Pensacola area through his entire career. He has served as Chief of Staff and Chief of Surgery at Gulf Breeze Hospital. At Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, he served as Assistant Chief of Surgery and American College of Surgeons Cancer Liaison Physician. He has been continuously certified by the American Board of Surgery since 1999.  Professional associations include Fellowship in the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Breast Surgeons, Tulane Surgical Society and Pensacola Surgical Society.  Dr. Caluda is expertly skilled in the laparoscopic treatment of hernias, colon cancer, and gallbladder disease. He has devoted a large part of his practice to caring for patients with breast cancer. Other specific professional interests include thyroid cancer, melanoma, and minimally invasive parathyroid surgery.
